Allegra Lovejoy is a multifaith chaplain and writer. She is currently completing her MDiv at Yale Divinity School and holds a Masters in Environmental Management from Yale School of the Environment. She earned her BA from Princeton University in International Affairs and Public Policy, concentrating in conflict studies in the Middle East and South Asia.

Allegra currently works as a chaplain at Yale-New Haven Hospital. In the interfaith field, she has worked with the Interfaith Center of New York, the Bhakti Center (NYC), and Govardhan Eco Village (Maharashtra, India).

In the environmental field, Allegra has worked with Yale Project on Climate Change Communications; The Food Project in Boston, MA; and D&R Greenway Land Trust in Princeton, NJ. She holds a Permaculture Design Certification (2017) and a LEED Green Associate (2019).

At Yale, Allegra serves as a graduate teaching assistant for courses in environmental sociology and leadership development. She leads meditations and eco-spirituality workshops at Yale and beyond.
